Indian Paintbrush in the Brush

Bluebonnets are usually beautiful on their own, but to have a field of bluebonnets with a smattering of Indian Paint Brush makes the bluebonnet absolutely spectacular. The Indian Paint Brush flowers are the supporting actors of Texas wildflowers. They are the partners to the bluebonnets, doing the do si do, the tango, the bump, the running man, or just swaying gracefully in the wind song right next to the bonneted blues. In their own right, they are a beautiful wildflower that deserves notice and glory. How can you have a field of bluebonnets without that brushing of red contrast? So, here's to you, little paint brush beauties. Paint away at this great Texas landscape.
